Beliefs (Old)

1.

We believe in the plenary-verbal inspiration of the accepted canon of Scriptures as originally given that they are infallibly and uniquely authoritative and free from error of any sort in all matters with which they deal, including scientific and historical as well as moral and theological.

We believe in the Eternal God-head who has revealed Himself as ONE God existing in THREE persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit; distinguishable but indivisible.

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of man, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very man.

We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day and personally appeared to His disciples.

We believe in the Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world and perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as an expression of Christian faith.

We believe in the Table of the Lord, commonly called Communion or the Lord’s Supper, for believers.

We believe in eternal life for believers and eternal punishment for unbelievers.

(Jn 5:24; Jn 3:16)

We believe that all people are created in the image of God and matter deeply to Him.

We believe that salvation is a gift of God received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of the Godhead in order to fulfill the command of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an important experience available to every believer.

We believe in healing of the body by God’s power as practiced in the early church.

We believe in the reality and personality of the Devil and eternal judgment in the lake of fire for the Devil and his angels.
